Transport for the trip...

Well, considering our Pajero died (very bad timing!!!!!) we had to purchase another 4WD especially for this trip. (Good and bad... love the new car, hate the cost!). Well this is the new beast!

So then of course we had to test out what the Land Rover Defender 2003 could do. This was our little practice run...

Ok, so we had to save up for mud tyres, but the winch works well.

4WD certainly allow you to see beautiful places!!

I'm looking forward to living like this for over a month :)

The Trip Plan!

Lots of reading, surfing the web and planning went into the detailed itinerary. Here is the visual summary.  Hope it all comes together well in practice. I wish it was day 1 now!!!!!

Trip Preparation

Well preparations are well and truly underway, with exactly 4 weeks before we leave. SOOOOO exciting!!
Col is busy welding brackets.
I'm finalising the itinerary and washing the linnen from the kid's double swag.
Jordan and Jack are setting up a blog site each.
